What I did on my vacation

Dog decision.  Kindle Fire acquisition.  Facials.  Free will essay.  Garage, kitchen, and bath re-arrangement.  Extra funds acquisition.  KDP initiation.  Party fun.  New neighbor.   Cathy support.  Resistance of depression.
Sloth, food, computer games, caring about politics.
Preparation for school.  Seven film writing students will have an odyssey into their own creativity and why they are worthy to be good writers.  Fifty soc writing students will be experiments which will enhance my book.  Thirty new college students will learn to love one another and practice efficiency.
2012 will continue to be exciting and wondrous.

Good

Woke up wanting to write, but listened instead.  There was a man - Good - who spoke of what I was writing about.  Later today I finger tripped on a common website and there was a piece about what I was writing about.
Freedom.  Freedom is a funny thing, a thing most precious and still to be written about.
Am I free when things happen like in a written play.  Does coincidence support freedom or causal determinism.  Need I know philosophers' names to think and write about it.  Or is it our deepest innermost and will resonate with all who get near it?

Freedom

Freedom is the issue.  If you do not have it, you want it.  If you have it, you might not know what it is.  Gurus disagree:  some say we have none, others say we "are" freedom.  What is it?
From a guru point of view, of course freedom is an illusion - everything is an illusion.  Saying freedom will get you about as far as saying "Love is all there is" got John Lennon.  Freedom is an illusion, but it is the most cherished of all illusions.  More than beauty?  More than wealth?  Yes.  We want beauty and wealth because we think they will bring us freedom.
Freedom is just a feeling.  It is that feeling right before we make a choice - and this is true even if in guru-speak, choice "just happens".  So, too, does the feeling of freedom happen, illusory though it is, right prior to choice.  It is that feeling which we crave.
Free will is like light:  particle and wave.  We have it and we do not.

All praise this morning

The witching hour is the time to write.  When the fingers move, God starts.  There are two directions:  in and out.  In is when you read.  Out is when you write.  God will start soon.  I have set the fingers in motion.
Balance within.  Harmony without.  Let the things do it.  Works that are undone clamor to be finished.
This year is so exciting.  It is finally here.  Finally the end is in the beginning as the beginning shall be in the end.  The middle is what we get to do each day.  Hallelujah.

The Year Begins with a 'Woof'"

Half the day yesterday I thought about dogs.  Dogs, walks, doors, fences, dog money, walks, sleeping, more walks, petting, and licks.  Last year was the year of the roof.  This year will be the year of the 'Woof.'
Self-publishing is a great new activity for the new world into which we enter of networked democracy.  Person to person selling, talking, loving, enlightening.  Cutting out the middle man, cutting out the professional politician.  Democracy rocks.
2012 is not going to be the year of disaster; it will be the year of re-birth.  It is already palpable, do-able, focused  progressing and real.

Here It Is

This is the year we have been waiting for.  It can seem that we are in a waiting room in life.  Edward Albee’s “A Delicate Balance” is about two families doing that.  Now the door is open.  The doctor is about to come in and make the announcement.
Today is a good one to begin awareness.  Let’s be aware of every moment.  Why skip any moment this year?  Are there some that do not deserve to be exploded like a green pig in Angry Birds?
What joy to continue the explosion throughout the year, and may we make it to December 22 in One piece.
